This past week has been so crazy! I can't remember the last time I have been this stressed out, and it really does not help that my emotions are on over-load. Instead of writing a novel, I'll just give some summaries:
- I went on a crying binge last night that lasted for about three hours. It felt really, really, really good to just cry. Lucky for him, Todd was at work and had no idea. Unlucky for her, my mom was at home. :) Needless to say, I feel much better now.
- Todd brought me home some ice cream after my crying binge and it was like magic. He didn't know I was upset, just that I had been cranky all day so I guess he wanted to see if his "ice cream really does cure everything for my wife" theory worked. And it did. Very quickly.
- I went to the doctor last week and they told me my blood sugar was a little high and I might have gestational diabetes, so I would have to come in for more testing.
- I went in for the THREE HOUR long test, and it turns out I have low blood sugar so I have to watch what I eat so it doesn't spike and then plummet.
- I like the feeling of spiked blood sugar and sometimes it is worth the plummet. So there.
- I made an A on the test I was stressed about, and finished my enormous project early. To sum myself up, I rock.
- Rachel sent me the most freaking AWESOME onesies, which I will post later.
- Our crib came and Todd already put it together in our living room. Yes, it's still standing right in front of the t.v.
That's about it. This weekend we are going to Utah to say goodbye to Todd's family. His parents and sister's are moving to Brazil for three years (mission president), and his brother, Greg, is going on his mission to Spain. Thank goodness Cam is still here or I think Todd would go crazy. This means another emotional weekend. Luckily, I know all the ice cream joint in Utah, and I have my mom on speed dial.

Yea! We get to see you this weekend! Is there anything in particular that you want before the baby comes? I have many ideas...but what do you guys still need?
That is a really nice crib. Chrissy and I were so poor when Evie was due we bought the cheapest one we could find at a discount furniture place. We still have it although I'm not sure it's going to last another kid. We'll find out I guess... Chrissy is being induced on Monday. Three kids, one a newborn, packing up our house and moving thousands of miles away, starting a new job. I'm not looking forward to the next few weeks either. I just want to fast forward and be settled and have everything nice and in order again. If you guys need anything let us know. We can try and help.
need any baby crap? that's not boy? we can try and send it!!
love you
Don't cry, baby sister!!!
Although I am super sympathetic to your pregnant emotional misfortunes, I can't help but be a little worried about myself as I read this. I mean I have no pregnant excuses for my emotional ups and downs I get!:)
Well we are going to have to wait a little while on that one...sorry:( One day though:)
Joy, you are one of the funniest pregnant women I've met. Glad you don't have gest. diabetes ( I did), but do be careful and enjoy the ice cream, especially if Todd brings it for you:) It looks like you two will have to take a trip to Brazil sometime. How fun!

You DO rock. We are sorry that you were sad and wish that we could be closer so that we could help out more. But, you do have Todd and what or who could be more help than that? We love you Joy Joy and will see yo soon.

Um I'm so sad we won't be there. The rest of the wise family will be, but we are home. And yes ice cream is the best! I swore that once I had the baby I would start eating healthy, have I? No, not really because now nothing makes me sick so I've been craving chocolate like crazy! Such a mean game these hormones play.
