I have TONS to update about, and I know I'm way overdue to post pictures, but time seems to just be flying by! Here are a few updates, and I'll post pictures later.
1) I'm 35 weeks. 35 WEEKS! Zack was born at 38 weeks, so I'm not taking any chances and getting as ready as I can right now. Also, I'm trying to spoil the heck out of Zack and do as much fun stuff as we can together. I'm a little sad to have to split my time between two kids, but it must be done. I just love my little Zacky.
2) My awesome friends here threw a great shower for me. I know it is my second kid (and second boy, for that matter), but people in our ward are shower crazy. You can have 12 girls, be pregnant with a girl, and still get a shower. The ward motto is "Every baby should be celebrated". Cute, huh? I was actually dreading it. I HATE being center of attention, but it was really fun. I got way spoiled and my friends made me the best food. All sugar. :)
3) Zack got a big boy hair cut. I mean, it's really short. And I'm learning to actually fix it. He officially looks 2.
4) Zack can name like 4 letters, and 2 numbers. Such a smarty. I don't drill him; he just asks me what letter it is he is holding up and I tell him. After you do that a billion times, you're bound to retain at least a little information.
5) I had my birthday! I'm now 24. I feel old and young all at the same time. Old because my body feels like it's falling apart thanks to being so pregnant, and young because I'm not sure why. I just feel like I'm still 18.
But I was very spoiled on my birthday, too! I got to workout in the morning, then went to lunch with some friends (and got the Glee soundtrack, free lunch, and a huge reeses bar...I think I have the best friends in the world!), and then that night Todd took me out for dinner while Zack played with his friend down the street. It was so nice to eat with out a little one, but also kind of boring. We just sat there the whole time! I'm so pathetic I actually missed Zack the hour it took us to eat. Todd also got me a new DS game, some perfume, and a promise to get the first season of Glee as soon as he can find it. Yay!
6) Todd is done studying for the GMAT and is now needing to schedule a time to take it. He is going to wait until after the baby is born just in case he schedules it and then the baby comes the night before or something crazy. Wish him luck!
