Lake Powell and the boys pulling the boat after it broke.
Last week Todd and I went to Lake Powell with his family. Lets just say I'm not a camper so it took a pretty big toll on me. As for Todd, he says he came back energized, but he can't even straighten his arms because water skiing just about killed him. Too many things happened to write, so I'll make a list of the most memorable.
- having like 40 people on one house boat
- sleeping OUTSIDE in the RAIN (big deal for me)
- bathing in the lake and thinking it is clean. blah.
- getting tan :)
- the boat breaking down and watching all the boys push it back to the house boat (which took three hours!)
- eating fantastic food
- riding the wave runners with Todd while screaming in his ear
- watching Todd water ski...he really is amazing at it.
Well, that's not all that happened, but it's a good overall picture. Yes, it was a blast and we will go back despite all the grossness of camping.

how about some water fun in 2008 again? And this year the Castle Rock cut at Lake Powell is projected to open!! Yes, the dept. of reclamation has forecasted highest lake levels in recent years http://www.usbr.gov/uc/water/crsp/studies/crsp_gc.txt
maybe, just maybe that dream vacation wish is about to come true :)
